The fire detection pipe cross connector is a core connection component specifically designed for complex fire suppression systems. It is used to achieve cross-interconnection of multiple fire detection pipes, ensuring that the system can efficiently activate even in the case of multiple fire points or localized high temperatures. The connector is made of high-strength, corrosion-resistant alloy materials, and its internal structure is precisely optimized through fluid dynamics to ensure smooth fire suppressant delivery while maintaining stable sealing performance in extreme environments.
In terms of features, the cross connector has a bidirectional pressure synchronization mechanism and a thermal conduction redundancy design. When any section of the detection pipe in the system ruptures due to heat, the connector can instantly detect the pressure change and simultaneously open all related channels, preventing a single-point failure from causing system malfunction. Its special surface coating can withstand high-temperature oxidation and chemical corrosion, making it suitable for harsh environments such as chemical plants and power facilities.
In principle, the cross connector achieves intelligent distribution through an internal linked valve core. If a rupture in one detection pipe causes a pressure imbalance, the valve core will automatically switch to a fully open state, allowing the fire suppressant to quickly cover the fire area through preset multiple pipelines. In an "indirect system," this device can also work in coordination with a nozzle network, triggering the remote release mechanism through pressure differences to achieve three-dimensional fire suppression.
Regarding application scenarios, the cross connector series offered by our company includes three types: explosion-proof enhanced type, rapid response type, and ultra-high-pressure adapted type:
The explosion-proof enhanced type is suitable for flammable and explosive environments such as oil and gas storage and transportation, with impact resistance and electrostatic shielding functions;
The rapid response type is designed for data centers and other precision equipment environments, featuring a low-inertia valve core structure with a response delay of less than 0.1 seconds;
The ultra-high-pressure adapted type can be matched with offshore platforms or special industrial environments, with a pressure-bearing strength more than three times that of conventional models.
